Every resident deserves support that reflects who they are.
Sometimes an individual needs more focused attention than the usual care environment can provide. This may be because of changing needs, distress, behaviours of concern, dementia, communication difficulties, safeguarding concerns or a need for greater engagement. 

Smart provides specialist one-to-one care and support within care settings, working alongside the existing care team and focusing specifically on the individual.

Our approach is person-centred from the beginning.

We don't send people in blind.

Before supporting an individual, our team receives the relevant information, preparation and, where appropriate, person-specific in-person training required to understand their needs and support them appropriately.
 

Our role isn't to replace your care team.

We provide dedicated support around the individual while working collaboratively with the people who know the service and resident best.

Communication, consistency and shared understanding are central to how we work.
